Goal: be the first to throw away all 13 cards. Big 2 is the
Cantonese poker classic where deuces rule everything.
The cards
- Rank order is 3 < 4 < … < K < A < 2 — the 2 is the biggest card in the game.
- When two cards tie, suits break it: ♦ < ♣ < ♥ < ♠.
- The holder of ♦3 opens the hand, and the opening play must contain it.
Combos
- Single, pair, triple — same size, bigger rank wins.
- Five-card ladder — a higher kind beats any lower one: Straight < Flush < Full House < Iron (four-of-a-kind) < Straight Flush.
- Straights run A-2-3-4-5 (the wheel, lowest) up to 10-J-Q-K-A; the 2 may only appear in the wheel.
- Singles, pairs and triples are beaten only by bigger combos of the same kind — otherwise pass and wait.
Play
- Tap cards to lift them, then press Play. Pass skips you.
- Play travels clockwise. When a combo comes back around unbeaten, its owner wins the trick and leads anything.
- The first player empty-handed wins the hand instantly. Everyone else eats a penalty: each leftover card is worth its face value (J=11, Q=12, K=13, A=14) and every leftover 2 costs 20.
- Scores pile up across hands — lowest total wins the evening.
Extras
- Shortcuts: Enter play · P pass · R rules.
- New Game abandons the current hand and deals a fresh one.
