Five Card Stud around a four-seat table — you against three
computer players. Everyone antes, then a betting round follows each new
card. Best five-card poker hand wins the pot.
The deal
- Every player puts a forced ante into the pot, then gets a
face-down hole card and a face-up door card.
The bring-in
- The player showing the lowest door card posts a forced opening
bet, the bring-in (A counts lowest). Action starts to their left.
The streets
- Each remaining player then gets one new face-up card at a time;
a betting round follows every card. You finish with one hole card and
four up cards.
Betting
- On every new street the player with the best visible up cards
acts first. Bets and raises are a fixed size (small on the first two
streets, big on the last two), capped at three raises a round.
- On your turn choose Fold, Check/Call, or Bet/Raise.
The showdown
- Everyone still in turns over their hole card; the best five-card hand
takes the pot. If betting ends early, the last player standing wins it.
